Megan Taylor is the Warning Coordination Meteorologist at the National Weather Service office in Flagstaff, Arizona, where she has worked as a Meteorologist for over 15 years (2010). Megan is originally from Minnesota, where she started her career with the NWS Twin Cities. After a brief time in Grand Junction, Colorado, Megan fell in love with the southwest and began her life and career in Flagstaff. She has served as a General and Lead forecaster, and also spent years leading the office hydrology program. Megan has a special interest in hydrology and is passionate about improving flash flood warning services in northern Arizona. Megan loves the outdoors and can often be found hiking around the mountains or canyons of northern Arizona. Outside of the office, Megan enjoys time with her family and trying to inspire a love of nature in her two little boys.
