Morgan Peterson, MPA, CEM, has advanced to progressively responsible roles during her 10 plus years in the emergency management profession. Peterson holds a Bachelor's Degree in Emergency Management from Saint Louis University and earned a Master of Public Administration from Northern Kentucky University. In her current role as the Assistant Director with the Hamilton County Emergency Management & Homeland Security Agency in Cincinnati, Ohio, she leads efforts to ensure operational readiness for the County's Emergency Management Program. Responsibilities include maintaining the emergency operations center (EOC) and on-call duty officer program and overseeing the alert and warnings program, training and exercises program, and resource management. Over the past year, she has been instrumental in designing the County's new EOC, setting up the new alternate EOC space, and enhancing the County's alert and warning capabilities. Peterson is a Certified Emergency Manager through the International Association of Emergency Managers.
