Hannah Storrs serves as the Communications Specialist with Hamilton County Emergency Management & Homeland Security Agency (EMHSA) in Cincinnati, Ohio. In her previous role at Florida State University, she developed messaging strategies for the university call center during the aftermath of two EF-2 tornadoes, Hurricanes Helene and Milton, and a school shooting. In her current role, she manages Hamilton County's alert and warning system, Alert HC, and facilitates local jurisdiction alerting capabilities. Additionally, she leads a workgroup of Public Information Officers who serve in the County's Joint Information System and develops policies and procedures for the Joint Information Center. She also manages the agency's website and social media accounts. Hannah graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science as well as an English minor and certificate in Emergency Management and Homeland Security.
