Kyle is an emergency management coordinator for Adams County, Colorado with experience in community preparedness, EOC operations, emergency planning, training and exercise development, continuity of operations, and LEPC coordination. Kyle is a member of IAEM and NEMA and he holds the designation of Certified Emergency Manager (CEM®) from IAEM. He also participates on numerous IAEM committees and caucuses and is the current Vice President of Region 8. Kyle earned a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree with an emphasis in emergency management from the University of Colorado-Denver, and he holds an undergraduate degree in political science with a minor in homeland security from Colorado State University-Pueblo. Most recently, he graduated from the Naval Postgraduate School Emergence Program, achieved the Master Continuity Practitioner - Level II, earned the Advanced Professional Series (APS) certificate, completed FEMA's National Emergency Management Basic Academy (NEMBA) and the TEEX Infrastructure Disaster Management and Infrastructure Protection programs. Kyle is also a IAEM certification mentor and routinely mentors individuals pursuing their AEM and CEM designations. Apart from his primary career, Kyle is a certified G course instructor for the State of Colorado Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management (DHSEM) and teaches various courses statewide.
