Kimberlee Battaglia is an emergency management professional with 20 years of experience in the utility sector. Her current role is the Business Continuity Emergency Management Program Manager at Salt River Project (SRP), leading the development and implementation of resilience strategies and continuity of operations for mission critical operations in power and water generation, transmission, and distribution. Previously, she spent 19 years at Arizona Public Service (APS), including as the Emergency Manager for Generation and Renewables, overseeing emergency management programs for coal, gas/oil, BESS, solar, and microgrid facilities. Her background includes strategic planning, managing emergency response and medical service delivery, training and education, and firefighter safety responding to energy infrastructure and emerging renewable resources.
Kimberlee holds an M.A. in Emergency Management Homeland Security from Arizona State University, an M.S. in Nursing Leadership and an M.S. in Disaster Preparedness and Executive Fire Service Leadership from Grand Canyon University. She holds several professional certifications including a CBCP from DRI and MEM from the Arizona Association of Emergency Managers. Kimberlee is currently pursuing a doctorate in emergency management, with research focused on resilience and preparedness in the utility sector and communities.
