Matt Zoccali, CHMM, is a Senior Environmental Scientist and Certified Hazardous Materials Manager with more than 20 years of experience in environmental health, regulatory compliance, and water and wastewater operations. He specializes in Clean Water Act permitting and compliance, stormwater and industrial pretreatment programs, emergency preparedness and recovery, and environmental management systems.Matt has led multidisciplinary teams supporting municipalities and utilities with MS4 and industrial stormwater programs, construction dewatering compliance, ISO 14001:2015 implementation and auditing, and environmental compliance assessments. His background includes extensive hands-on experience in wastewater collection. Matt is also an Adjunct Instructor with the Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service (TEEX), where he trains water and wastewater professionals in disaster management and infrastructure resilience. He is known for translating complex regulatory requirements into practical programs that reduce risk, improve compliance, and strengthen organizational resilience.
