Maggie Allen is the Climate & Health Policy Program Manager for NOAA's Climate Program Office. In this role, she manages projects that build heat resilience and governance across the U.S, supporting extreme heat tabletop exercises, interagency efforts, social science collaboration, and other grants and partnerships. Since 2013, Maggie has worked for NOAA in various capacities - as an AmeriCorps member at a National Estuarine Research Reserve, a social scientist for NOAA Fisheries, and as a Sea Grant Knauss Marine Policy Fellow for NOAA's Office of Education. Maggie holds a Bachelor's in Environmental Studies-Sociology and a Master's in Marine Policy from the University of Washington.
