Brittni Blaser is an Emergency Manager at Children’s Mercy Kansas City, where she leads pediatric emergency preparedness and disaster response initiatives. She developed the Pediatric Medical Specialty Team, establishing its operational foundation and training program, and integrated the team into the Missouri Disaster Response System to strengthen pediatric readiness across Region VII. Nationally, Brittni serves as a subject matter expert for the Pediatric Pandemic Network’s Disaster Management Domain and co-leads the Reunification Domain, advancing coordinated, child-focused reunification planning and operations. She holds a master’s degree in international healthcare management, economics, and policy. Her experience includes managing U.S. and World Health Organization-assigned emergency medical teams in the Bahamas and Papua New Guinea, and supporting Zika prevention efforts with the Belize Red Cross.
