Jerusha Kasch is the Director of Institutional Crisis Management at Rice University, a role she has held since 2017. At Rice, she leads the Crisis Management Team. She is also a Certified Emergency Manager, a certified FEMA NIMS instructor, and Incident Management Team member. Before entering emergency management, Kasch spent 17 years in key response systems, including EMS, law enforcement, hospitals, and clinical care, filling nearly all ICS command and general staff roles in incidents.
