William Turley, M.S., is a school safety and emergency management professional with more than 30 years of experience in law enforcement and preparedness. He serves in Special Projects and Support with the Connecticut Center for School Safety and Crisis Preparation at Western Connecticut State University. Previously, he was Connecticut's School Safety Program Lead at the Division of Emergency Management and Homeland Security, overseeing statewide review and quality assurance of hundreds of School Emergency Operations Plans annually and providing technical assistance to school districts and emergency management partners.
