Jaime Wascalus serves as the Chief Information Officer for the City of Saint Paul, where she leads citywide technology strategy, cybersecurity, and digital transformation. Since joining the City in 2022, she has directed modernization initiatives that strengthen municipal service delivery, improve system resilience, and expand responsible use of artificial intelligence in government.
Jaime brings more than a decade of technology leadership experience from the University of Minnesota, with expertise in enterprise systems, data governance, and cybersecurity risk management. She focuses on aligning technology investments with operational needs while managing risk in complex public-sector environments.
She serves on advisory and nonprofit boards including Full Stack Saint Paul and the University of St. Thomas Graduate Programs in Software Strategic Advisory Board. She is also a founding board member of the GovAI Coalition, supporting safe and community-focused AI adoption across the public sector.
