Angie Ramos is a member of the Nottawaseppi Huron Band of the Potawatomi and serves as the Emergency Manager for the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi in Southwest Michigan and Northern Indiana. She holds the IAEM Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) and Michigan Professional Emergency Manager (MI-PEM) certifications and is the Chair of the IAEM Tribal Affairs Caucus. Angie serves as an Incident Commander with the Cherokee Nation and Indiana State Incident Management Assistance Team (IMAT).Angie has earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Emergency Management from North Dakota State University and is pursuing a Master of Science Degree in Homeland Security and Emergency Management at Purdue University. Angie is a graduate of the FEMA National Emergency Management Basic and Advanced Academy and has over 20 years of experience as a BSN RN, including leadership roles in healthcare and healthcare emergency management.
