Eileen Connors joined the Simi Valley Police Department as the Emergency Services Manager in 2020, after positions with a Fortune 500 company and a start-up. As part of the Walt Disney Company's Global Crisis Management team, she supported lines of business around the globe. During 2018, Eileen was part of eight Emergency Operations Center activations within seven weeks that included four hurricanes, an earthquake, wildfires and a mass shooting. Eileen holds both the Certified Emergency Manager and California Professional Emergency Manager credentials. She is an alumna of the University of Florida, the American Film Institute and the FEMA Emergency Management Institute's Basic and Advanced academies. Eileen believes that if, during blue skies, we teach the community how to take care of themselves in a crisis, they will be prepared for the stormy skies.
