Amanda Sharma is the President and Founder of Place Mosaic LLC; a consulting firm focused on strengthening community resilience and enhancing organizational performance. With over 20 years of experience, she has led multidisciplinary teams across local and federal government, technical fields, and disaster response and recovery operations. Her work focuses on helping leaders understand how population conditions, infrastructure, technology and local context shape disaster outcomes. She has supported preparedness planning and analysis related to storms floods extreme heat and recovery challenges with particular attention to vulnerable populations and communities with limited adaptive capacity. Amanda regularly presents on risk communication and community resilience and recently contributed a chapter on emerging health issues and disasters to a book on rural health in the Southeast United States. She holds an Executive Master of Business Administration and a Master of Laws from the University of Denver and has multiple certifications including ICF Associate Certified Coach (ACC), TCI Certified Team Coach, Certified Prosci Change Practitioner, and Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM).
