Gary Scronce has 34 years of emergency management related experience, including the past 26+ years working full time in emergency management and homeland security consulting at IEM. Currently a Sr. Director at IEM, Mr. Scronce has led or supported projects throughout the United States to improve preparedness, respond to and recover from disasters, and implement mitigation programs to enhance community resilience. He is a member of NEMA. IAEM, and several state associations of emergency managers. Gary is a member of IAEM's Energy Caucus and Infrastructure Consortium. He volunteered as a 2025 poster evaluator and currently serves on IAEM's Scholarship Commission. He previously served on IAEM's Bylaws Committee. He also serves as President of the Board of Directors for Arbor Family Health, a Federally Qualified Health Center. Mr. Scronce holds Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Nuclear Engineering from Kansas State University.
